About Us

Since 2003, Western Air Flight Academy has been providing flight students in the greater Denver area with exceptional flight training and aircraft rental services. Located in the foreground of the beautiful flat iron region of the Rocky Mountains, Western Air is home to some of the most experienced and passionate flight instructors in the business. Western Air was selected for the Outstanding Flight School Honor Roll in 2012, and was the proud recipient of the 2013 Flight Training Excellence Award, both from the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association. In April of 2015, Western Air Flight Academy joined forces with Aspen Flying Club, and is now a proud member of the Aspen Flying Club family. Members of Western Air now have access to three airport locations and over fifty aircraft for training or rental. Whether you’re taking an introductory flight or making your way through our Multi-Engine Airplane course, you can expect training that caters to your specific financial needs, schedule, and learning style. Our mission is not only to produce safe, skilled, lifetime aviators, but to share with our members a true passion for flight.
